Genre is misleading, this kinda falls as a 'runner', not a 'Run 'n Gun' like the Gunstar Heroes games, so that kinda ruined my expectations a little.

I'm loving the overall art style, captures the Wild West theme so well!

For a runner, it plays solidly, controls are responsive to controls, but level design here seems iffy... especially the gun portion of the game. I know you need to introduce a level where bullets can ricochet but why punish the player in learning that? And punish them even more for dropping to a pathway where a brigand is literally waiting for them to shoot at them and escape is impossible? And even you shoot them, there's a slope just there for a bullet to ricochet back at them. I just thought that was just a weird design.

Also for some reason, pressing space pauses the whole game, even though the hunter is still moving?

Despite all that, this can be a really good, addicting game. Just finish the rest of the game, add NG API and medal support and it will really polish up the game. Really good stuff here!

UltimoGames responds:

Yeah I really need to see other people play this game. I am not too good at level design.. I like to create a world, characters, and story. Thanks for the useful review solitonmedic! (changed the genre)

Plays beautifully, however if you die even once, the game just freezes up with just the character locked in place wherever he was killed in, forcing a refresh. Also, it's slow but it might probably be my PC.

Regardless of that, still a fun challenging platformer.

GumpyFunction responds:

Thanks! The respawn seems to work for me when testing in the browser most of time. There are heavy fps drops though. I made this in game maker and when I play it in windows its running twice as fast. Seems that the player character doesnt move on occasion if the fps is really low. I'm working on a fix...

The collision detection is the awfullest I've seen, the overall presentation isn't that great. It feels more then just rushed.

Keep trying.

i made this game in year 5 and just gave it a new look nothing much so yeah it is bad but i have an idea

reply change or trash is you want me to keep working on it or not

Pretty good! A pretty deep game, perfect for phones. The game has you collecting coins from all over the screen, but you either need to jump, change directions to the other side of the screen to get them while avoid almost everything the game throws at you.

Really solid fun, plus a good looking art style. Medals and the Newgrounds API leaderboard would really do this game justice.

EugeneK responds:

Thanks for your review! Very nice to know that my game you liked. I will try to connect the Newgrouds API in the near future.

Bloody good fun.

I love how deep the gameplay could be, i.e. you can only defeat armored enemies by hitting the right charge. Definitely up there to be the most addicting game here, and I love how there's medal support too, a nice touch! The aesthetics are a plus too.

It's really satisfying to unlock all medals, amazing good work overall!

Oultrox responds:

Thank you!

I tried my best with Newgrounds API, it's not that difficult to implement, also there's leaderboards! :0

I guess it works? I had a chuckle at the crude humor, but I can't really see myself spending that much time on the game.

Some better presentation would do the game justice.

JakeWelch responds:

Thank you Solitonmedic for playing my game and the 3 star rating. Game is about 45 Min on average to complete.

Pretty piss-poor handling here to be honest..
The way how the game handles collision makes it so that you can't even hit the zombies from the bottom of the screen, and it's worst how the zombies pile up just to slow everything down.

The genre you set for the game doesn't make any sense too, this is more survive-til-you-drop shooter to me persay. Also, why does the timer keep counting up even though I'm on the menu and I'm already dead?

At least it's something.

VivekDoesGaming responds:

Dear solitonmedic,
thank you for letting me know.

i don't take offense, i just want you to tell me what I can do to make it better.

thx, vivek thomas (creator)

p.s: the lag from the piled up zombies is intentional.

Successfully escaped!! I have to say, the final challenge was nerve-wracking. No spoilers. :)

The whole presentation could use some work, grammar and puncutation issues all around. Regardless, it was quite a the enjoyable adventure!

(One bug though, I can't unlock the medal upon reaching the final screen. Also, I cannot click on your FB link. What should be the link, instead I get a message that says "Error: cannot find a closing tag for macro <<link>>".)

NiobiuMmm responds:

Thanks for tip. I fixed last part. Final scene is the most favourite part of mine too lol :)) thanks for stars :))

It's a chat client..?
It works, I think?

There isn't much to it, really aside from the rather unique terms here.

KingCringe responds:

It works wonderfully, great job!

Doesn't bring anything new to the table.

If you were going to go for the worst demo, least make it so it doesn't boot up. Ever. It plays well as it should, but not enough to hold attention for. Controls for two players is awkward in reality.

At least you tried though.

StoryTimeGames responds:

Thanks for the review. Yeah there is definitely a lot to work on if we want to make this a legit game, one of the reasons we didn't try are hardest is because we're using a dodgy engine and some of our programmers recently left due to pay cuts. Yet again thanks for the review!.
